Solidarity musical

Every year, the school performs two charity musicals in English. Throughout the school year, Primary students work on different aspects: reading and understanding the lyrics of the musical pieces, memorizing the dialogues (which are all in English), rehearsing the dramatization of the scenes, making the props. . , singing and intonation of the different themes of the musical, etc. In short, they work on reading, comprehension, memory, representation, music and the plastic arts, a very complete project that contributes to the development of each student's skills.

The election of the protagonists is carried out through a casting in which the candidates have to pass singing, dramatization and dancing tests. This year we premiered Oliver Twist and Encanto at the Palma Conference Center. Tickets will be on sale at the Aixa and Llaüt secretariats for a price/donation of €5.

The final touch of the project is that it has a solidarity motive. The proceeds are allocated to cooperation projects; In past courses we have collaborated with Living for others of International Cooperation and the renewal of the pediatric emergencies of Son Espases, Cáritas Mallorca, etc. The students become aware of the poverty in the world and do their part to improve the future of those disadvantaged by the disease.
